first entry of the year! by me. how shocking!
monday was nette's birthday! got up really early and went to meet the netties at kap before going to surprise nette at her house. we stayed there for awhile watching hahaha mvp qing ren on tiff's wishes. the episode we watched was quite sweet actually, it's the only time the duan chen feng guy showed any emotions. is it even duan chen feng?
then we went to town and had lunch and watched that family stone movie.
i hope you had a good time nette! i did, i just can't get enough of the netties. JAS and MOooOo i really want to see you guys! hahah moz the last time i was in no state for it to count. last night i dreamt that i met jas and she was wearing the mg uniform but she had shoulder pads in each shoulder and we were joking about it as if it was something we'd been doing for years. it was really weird! trace we really miss you alot.. T2LC2 isnt complete without you here. i cant wait till june when we will all be back. a full team seniors and juniors and we can go back and play at mg.

and new news! i have been trying very hard and i think i have just about gotten tired enough about caring about how i am unphotogenic to stop. cos even if they do get uploaded, and everyone sees them, i really do need to accept however bad i look. how the world rejoices! especially nette's right index finger from having to press down the shutter button so much. hahaha mojo i am probably responsible for 12% of your SPs.
HAHAHA tiff i'm watching proboscis monkeys on tv now. they are actually very scary to watch. they are extremely human-like. heheheahahaha tiff. hahahaha ahh.
tuesday morning i brough za to her first day at MG! she looked SO CUTE in her teeny tiny uniform. 75 cm blouse! awwww. i helped her put on her pinafore and blouse and then i pinned her badge on and braided her hair and really she was just so adorable oh my i couldnt stop smiling.
so we took photos and brought her in and it was extremely strange and twingey going back to mg and seeing all these TINY kids starting out on their first days of their 6 or 10 year journies. jealousy! they all have dark blue desks and yellow chairs now not like ours. za and i were having an "aunty, xiao bei sprite and 40cents ribena please" each in the canteen today and i saw two sec two girls i think walk past in their fbts and pe shirts and track shoes and coolers and i wanted to be them so much!
i'm so glad i still have you guys to reminisce with about everything that used to go on with us back then. all the scoldings corner standings claire-fights assembly rushing roof climbing (sorry prefects) socks tucking.. everything. i miss everything everyday, especially trainings; feeling burnt and tired and sore and challenged to give your all for something that's bigger than yourself. just being part of that wonderful big team of all of us in it together. not just in netball but school as a whole.
i think we had the best cohort in the history of mg.(sorry juniors/seniors, just what i THINK not what definiitely is!) and oh i am so proud of our level. the class of 2004, the sunshine in my days. :)
